Help Your Teen Navigate Life's Challenges

Are you the parent or grandparent of a teen? Does your teen deal daily with the immense stressors of school, social dynamics, fitting in, and poor sleep habits? Do they feel like the stress never stops and continues even when they should not be stressed? Do you suspect that they have anxiety or other mental health challenges?

Maybe it's time to let them know they're not alone. Studies show that almost one out of three teens deal with some sort of anxiety. Their classmates and friends are included in this. The person they sit across from on the bus is part of this. Their sports buddies also deal with those daily intrusive thoughts. They are NOT alone.

Starting soon, Mont Belvieu Counseling is offering small-group sessions for high school teens. These types of groups help foster openness and encourage teens to talk about their struggles. It removes the stigma of mental health and instead focuses on working together as a group to support each other and learn how to manage being a teen.

Teens will learn how to balance their lives, attitudes, and behaviors to make them feel more fulfilled and happy.

The group runs for 5 consecutive weeks, with one session per week. Adult sessions will also be available. Find out more HERE. Cost: $55 per session
