Meet Maya | 🐕‍🦺 

Maya is an irresistibly charming 3-year-old boxer mix with a playful personality that will capture your heart instantly. She weighs about 45 pounds, and loves nothing more than treats, cuddles, and making new friends. She has one of the happiest, sweetest personalities and is looking to have that love returned from her own family! She sits on command and loves people of all ages and other dogs.

Barbers Hill ISD Scoop | 🥇 

Holly Jackson Outstanding Achievement Award presented

At the Mont Belvieu Chamber of Commerce's 40th Gala celebration, Barbara Ponder, Barbers Hill assistant superintendent of human resources, received the organization's highest honor. She was presented with the Holly Jackson Outstanding Achievement Award, a prestigious recognition that has only been bestowed twice before. The award acknowledges Barbara's dedication, commitment, and passion for improving both the school district and community.

A 33-year employee of Barbers Hill ISD, she has led the human resources department for the past 17 years. "I cannot imagine a person who better exemplifies the 'We Can, We Will' spirit of Barbers Hill," said Superintendent Dr. Greg Poole. "The fact that this recognition involves Holly Jackson is especially fitting, as both of these women love our school district and have contributed significantly to making it the finest in the state." Congratulations! 🦅
