Meet Pete | 🐕‍🦺 

Meet Pete: This friendly pup is searching for a forever home. Originally from Baytown Animal Shelter, he was found in Mont Belvieu unclaimed. Pete is an approximate 5 year old neutered male and weighs about 61 pounds. He has manageable hip and knee conditions, but stays active despite them-- even doing zoomies in the yard!

He's great with people and other dogs, though untested with cats. He's ready for a loving family who will provide the care and commitment he deserves.🫶 Adopt Pete HERE

Barbers Hill ISD Scoop | 📕 

Signing Day for Class of 2025 Athletes

Ten Barbers Hill High School athletes signed college athletic scholarships during National Signing Day last week. The signings represented six sports: soccer, track and field, cross country, football, tennis, cheer and golf. Family, coaches, and school community members attended the ceremony.

District Champs: Robotics Team 🤖 

Two Barbers Hill High School robotics teams competed at the UIL State Championship in Webster. Team 6865D No Solution (ranked 4th), advanced to finals as Tournament Finalist, while Team 6865Z Ultraviolet (ranked 15th), also made the finals bracket.

First-year coach Kayla Platt, who has 7 years of robotics coaching experience, leads both teams. The teams, together since August, will compete in the Regional State Championship February 19-20th for a chance to advance to World Championships in Dallas.

"We have an amazing group of robotics students at Barbers Hill High School that embody the future of engineering. I am so proud of their hard work and their accomplishments and look forward to seeing what is next," Platt said.
